I'm working as a Platform Engineer at Smals, building Services with Openshift for our customers in the Belgian public sector.
Most of my work the past decade has been around automating infrastructure deployment. The last two years I've been part of a dedicated team that does just that, specifically for the deployment of Openshift clusters.
I have a strong personal interest in Software Engineering, especially in recent years. Automating things via Ansible and Python is second nature, but I'm also learning Go, data structures and algorithms.
Agile methodologies and the Scrum framework are very familiar to me.
I adopt an "Open-source first" approach to software selection.
